Michigan Helps Medical Team is a Jackson Michigan based medical and dental team working in partnership with Helps International in Dallas Texas to bring medical services to the Myan population in the highlands of Guatemala. Each year since 1994 we take a team of doctors, nurses, dentists, allied health professionals to provide general and gynecological surgery, surgery for cleft lip, club feet and strabismus in kids, dental care, and medical clinics. We also construct cooking stoves and water purification units in homes as a way to promote healthy living. All care is free.
